I have found with my allergies, MSG is one that creates migraines for me. MSG is found in a lot of things like soy sauce, marinades, etc… Can we add this one on the allergy profile?

The purpose of an allergen on the website is to link our known ingredients to it. Most of the ingredients in our list are natural ingredients and not commercially available products. However, there are a few brand name items in the database. Since MSG is a common food additive to processed foods, I still need to research MSG more to determine the best way to add it to our website.

My daughter is allergic to Corn and Soy. i can’t remember which one MSG falls under, but, in all the paperwork i got from the Dr., it said that she can’t have MSG because of the Soy or Corn in it.

I’m allergic to corn and soy and wheat (they make me itch uncontrollably) but they didn’t show up on the skin-prick test. But barley did, and I thought if barley showed up, wheat and corn would, too. And Oats make my face swell up like a baloon. then I itch like mad. And rice makes me itch to. So I’ve just gone to ALL GRAINS BAD, VERY VERY BAD. Anyway, glutamine and glutamates need to definitely be on this site, I agree. As well as all the other names it legally goes by, such as “texturized vetegable protein” (sounds delicious, doesn’t it?), “natural flavorings,” etc.
