I like the way the recipe lists come back sorted with good recipes up top and recipes that may have something bad for me at the bottom, but sometimes I just want to sort by name. Is there any way to switch sort by allergy risk on and off?

Thanks!

The ability to sort by name or date is available by clicking on the “Name” and “Last Updated” column names at the top when listing recipes. However, the recipes will still be sorted overall by the number of bad allergens in them.

We can definitely look into adding an option to remove sorting by allergy risk altogether so that the results are in alphabetical (or date) order for easier perusal.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, that took more effort than we expected, but it’s implemented now :) At the top of recipe listings there is now a checkbox which allows you to sort according to your allergen risks. Of course you need to be logged in to use it (so we know your allergies).

Please let us know if you have any issues or see any odd behavior with the different sorting options (name, date, allergy risk). We tested it thoroughly, but there are gremlins that have gotten in in the past….

Thanks again for the suggestion, and we hope it helps you make the most of Cooking Allergy Free!
