On the “Recommended Cookbooks” feature, I can view it but cannot add any recommendations of my own, as the hyperlink does not seem to work. Do I have to be part of Facebook to use this feature?

Happywheather,

In order to add an item to the list, click on the “Top Allergy Cookbooks” link at the top or the “Add an item to this list” link at the bottom. This will take you to the Unspun/Amazon site. Down at the bottom of the page, there is a place to type in your item and an Add button to add it. You do need to login using an Unspun/Amazon account (I don’t know if facebook accounts work). The first time I did this, I got an error from the Unspun site. I just went back and did the Add again and it worked. Hopefully you don’t have this issue. Once you get in, you will see your new item show up in “Your Ranking” as well as the “Community Ranking”. If you have a link to the book from Amazon, click on your item in the “Community Ranking” and enter the link using the “Top Links/Add Link” functionality.

This can be a bit confusing the first time you add something. We definitely want your suggestions up there, though. If you still have issues getting your items entered, feel free to post them to the discussion board and we’ll add them for you.

Hello wlrdq,

Thank you for the information. I actually have tried several times (on different days) to click on “Add an item to this list” hyperlink, and absolutely nothing happens. Perhaps the computer I am using has a block on it.

At any rate, I would like to recommend the following cookbook. In particular, it has some fabulous gluten-free bread recipes that can also be made free (optional) of dairy, egg, and refined sugar.

Title: Cooking Free
Author: Carol Fenster, Ph.D.

I added your book to the list. Make sure to stop by and vote it up when you get a chance:

Suggested Cookbooks

Although, if adding doesn’t work then voting might not either.

Thanks for your suggestion and let me know if you have any others I can add to the list.
