Has anyone else had problems with cosmetics too? The past year, some food intolerances have gotten a little better, however, my dairy issue has gotten lots worse. But it seems likes everything bothers me.Cosmetics, smells, sunlight. Everything is causing me migraine problems.Any suggestions?

Dairy and sunlight could be from Vitamin D overload/toxicity.. My son is being treated for that right now
I guess cosmetics could have something in it related to vitamin D. I don’t know about the smells.
Google “Marshall Protocol”

thanks for the suggestion. How does a vitamin D toxicity present itself in your son.

I cannot tell you all of the technical things because only he can explain that, but he breaks out in acne-like bumps everywhere the sun hits. If he gets his hair cut, the bumps are on his head too. He feels really bad if he has to be out in the sun too long. Numerous times he went to the ER with chest pains and severe abdominal pain.
He has multiple food allergies that he never had as a child (many of them associated with Vitamin D-rich foods and enriched foods). His thyroid was affected and he is now on thyroid meds.. He had to take DHEA for adrenal fatigue for awhile, but is no longer on that.
For about a year, he just followed the diet of cutting out his food allergies, it helped, but it never seemed to inprove more than a little bit. That is because we didn’t know about the Vitamin D in fish, egg yolks, pork, and fortified products, which he ate a lot of.
He kept looking on the internet trying to find something that covered all of his symptoms. He finally found the Marshall Protocal site and it made sense, so he had his doctor do the Vitamin D tests.
Right now, he has cut out all Vitamin D that is possible and is doing the treatment mentioned in the Marhall Protocol. His skin condition is clearing up. The pills that he is on now will take a long time, but at least he sees some improvement.
Our hope is one day that his food allergies will improve to the point that he can start eating things again. It’s hard on someone his age not to be able to eat at a restaurant or accept dinner invitations.

AllieK—Is it possible for someone to have vitamin D toxicity even if their blood tests show them to be in the normal/low range?

The ordinary blood test does not tell the whole story. I am posting a few addresses so you can read up on what I’m talking about and it gives you what kind of vitamin D tests should be run. If you have time, read through the site so you understand what my son is being treated for. It’s long and “technical”
