Hi,
I recently found out that my breast fed baby is allergic to many foods including tomatoes, oranges, turkey, corn, green beans, peas, carrots, rye, soy, milk, corn (meaning no cornstarch, corn syrup, baking powder and many other starches), Beef (so no gelatin), and eggs. This means that i have to stop eating these things for her sake and i heard that there was a mayo out there that was made without eggs but i can’t find one. any ideas? i want to start eating more fish but all my favorite sauces for it contain mayo. any other great dinner ideas out there anyone wants to share that doesn’t contain any of the above mentioned foods? it seems i’ve just been eating a lot of grilled seasoned chicken and chicken soup and i need some variety. Thanks.

That’s a tough one! The egg-free mayonnaise that we use is “Nayonaise”, but it’s soy-based. So that’s a no-go.

I did a quick search and found some alternatives, but I’m not sure how far you’re willing to go to make your own. If you do happen to try any in this link (cashew mayonnaise looks like the only soy and egg-free one there, but sounds very interesting), definitely let us know how it goes!
