My grandson is allergic to wheat,rice,soy,egg,nuts,garlic. Which flour is the most comparable to the taste of regular flour. He is only 17.5 months. I have tried garbonzo, rye, tapioca flour. He hasn’t liked anything! It breaks my heart at daycare when the other kids are eating animal crackers and he is just sitting there. We pack all his meals. Maybe it is just the texture he is not ready for.

I did some searching and found an article that recommends a 50/50 mix of oat flour and barley flour. Here’s a link to the article, with other good info you might try:
