I was diagnosed with several food allergies in April 2007. Since that time, I have discovered multiple other foods to which I also have an allergic response. I believe an underlying sensitivity to gluten has compromised my health throughout my lifetime, and I am reasonably content to avoid this food group indefinitely. However, I pray and I research to find a cure for my remaining food allergies! I believe a strong connection exists between the body, mind, and spirit, and that healing is therefore holistic in nature. I am a work in progress, but am so grateful to have others with whom to share the coping, healing, and growth process.
