We joined this site for my teenager daughter, diagnosed with DIETARY FRUCTOSE INTOLERANCE – DFI. It’s been a challenge to make sure her diet packs a nutritional punch! We’ve learned a lot, like the importance of supplements, as well as variety and the benefits of learning about and using substitutions. We were given a “list of don’t’s” and sent on our way. We found book to be very helpful, ‘Living With Dietary Fructose Intolerance: A Guide to Managing your Life With this New Diagnosis", by Judy Smith (amazon.com) Between this site and the book, we’re learning!

DFI - for breads and cookies, go organic for snacks. I've found cream-centered cookies (like oreos) and others in the organic section of our local grocer. Also, your grocery story bakery should have ...
