My name is Melissa Andreae and I am one of the co-founders of Cooking Allergy Free.
I was diagnosed with allergies in 2005; turns out I was allergic to over 20 of my favorite foods. It was definitely a struggle to change my lifestyle to avoid my allergies. However, in doing so and struggling through it, that has given me the drive to help make a good site to help others like me. Primarily, I work on researching and adding ingredients and allergens to Cooking Allergy Free.

I'm not sure I understand. We already have a Bean allergen category. It is listed under "Nut > Legume > Bean". This is then broken up into several smaller bean categories. Are you asking to break this...

I added the Palm allergen under the Sugar > Fructose > Fruit/Vegetable category. Please update your profile to mark it as an allergen for you....
