Meatloaf


Recipe Servings: 6 servings Description: Homemade meat loaf. Many of the vegetable ingredients may be substituted depending on allergies. 1/2 cup Allergy_none oats
1 whole Allergy_none tomato , diced
2 stalks Allergy_none celery , diced
7 oz can Allergy_none tomato paste
3/4 cup Allergy_none ketchup
2 bulbs Allergy_none shallots , diced
1 tbsp Allergy_none brown sugar
1/4 tsp Allergy_none salt
1/4 tsp Allergy_none black pepper
1 1/2 lbs Allergy_none ground beef

Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F.

Coat a pan (at least 4"x8") with cooking spray.

Add the following to one large bowl and stir well: shallots, sugar, salt, pepper, tomato, celery, tomato paste and 1/2 cup of the ketchup. Add the ground meat and oats; mix until blended (stir or mix with clean hands). In the pan, shape the mixture into a loaf. Brush the remaining ketchup onto the top of the loaf.

Bake at 375 for approximately 55 minutes or until done. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
