Recipe Servings: 3 dozen Description: Not overly sweet, but incredibly tasty Allergens: Animal, Beet, Brewers yeast, Corn, Cow milk, Dairy, Fermented, Fructose, Fruit/vegetable, Gelatin, Gluten, Grain, Legume, Miscellaneous, Nut, Soy, Sugar, Sugar cane, Sulfites, Vanilla, Wheat, Yeast Ingredient List:

QtyName
1 cup Allergy_none butter or Allergy_none margarine
1/3 cup Allergy_none granulated sugar
2 tsp Allergy_none water
2 tsp Allergy_none vanilla
2 cups Allergy_none all purpose flour , sifted
1 cup Allergy_none nuts , chopped (I use pecans)

Instructions: Cream butter and sugar; add 2 tsp water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour, add nuts. Chill 4 hours. Shape in balls or fingers. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool slightly; roll in confectioner's sugar. Makes about 3 dozen.
