Instructions: Combine ingredients to a 'play dough' consistency and by spoonfuls, cook on a waffle cone maker 5-7 minutes each. These can get very crisp.
Rice flour usually needs only 1/2c. water.
Oat flour needs 3/4c. water and a few minutes to stand, so it can absord the liquid.
Can add other seasonings, like garlic, flax seeds, etc.

What can I use instead of the waffle cone maker??

Without a waffle cone maker, it might be best to thicken the batter and bake them in the oven, as in Rye Crackers, a recipe I entered on this site.

I tried to make these without a waffle cone maker and the results were pretty bad. My suggestion is to make Quick Skillet Bread instead and make them crispy. Just keep turning and cooking until they get as crispy as you want. I got my waffle cone maker for $7 during the end-of-summer clearance at Wal Mart. It's worth full price if you haven't had something like crackers in awhile.
