1 large Allergy_none apple , peeled and sliced
1 (4lb) Allergy_none chuck roast , boneless
2 tbls Allergy_none vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp Allergy_none salt
1/8 tsp Allergy_none pepper
1 cup Allergy_none apple juice
1 cup Allergy_none water
2 - 3" Allergy_none cinnamon sticks
1- 6oz pkg Allergy_none apricots , dried

Instructions: Brown roast on all sides in hot oil in Dutch oven; pour off drippings. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper; add apple juice, water and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil; cover, redure heat and simmer 1 hour. Add apricots, prunes and apple; simmer, covered 30 min.
