Zucchini romano

Recipe Servings: 4-6 servings Prep Time: 20 minutes Description: Sliced zucchini/summer squash side dish with a cheesy zip. Allergens: Cheese, Citrus, Corn, Cow milk, Dairy, Fermented, Fructose, Fruit/vegetable, Gluten, Grain, Legume, Lemon, Lime, Nut, Nutmeg, Onion, Soy, Spices, Squash, Sugar, Wheat Ingredient List:

Instructions: Boil zucchini for 5 minutes or until just tender. Drain well. Heat French Fried onions on a microwave-safe plate in microwave for 45 seconds. Mix French Fried Onions, cheese and nutmeg in a zip-top bag. Crush onions with hands or rolling pin. Layer 1/3 of the zucchini with 1/3 of the onion mixture in serving bowl. Drizzle with 1/3 of the butter. Repeat layers twice.
