Beef stew

Recipe Servings: 4-6 Prep Time: 20 prep / 1.5 hours cooking Description: Easy fructose-free beef stew Allergens: Animal, Beef, Fermented, Fructose, Fruit/vegetable, Grain, Olive, Onion, Pepper, Spices, Sugar, White potato Ingredient List:

|
Instructions: Coat beef cubes in flour, brown all sides in olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots. After 2-3 minutes, add beef stock, potatoes and salt and pepper to taste.
Depending on fructose tolerance, you can add tolerated/ desired vegetables, though this is very tastey without.
Serve with warm homemade or bakery bread (fructose-free).
Note: nutritionist listed all ingredients as tolerated by fructose-intolerant people, though a couple of these ingredients came up with an alert. My FI daughter did well with this.
