2 tablespoons Allergy_none vegetable oil or Allergy_none shortening , (shortening is melted)
2 cups Allergy_none cornmeal
1.5 Teaspoons Allergy_none baking powder
1 teaspoon Allergy_none salt
1 Allergy_none egg , lightly beaten
1.5 cups Allergy_none milk

Instructions: Combine cornmeal, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Stir together the milk, egg, and vegetable oil.
Put in a 9 or 10 inch, well greased, covered pan.
Cook over medium high heat for approximately 10 minutes.
