Recipe Servings: about 3 cups Prep Time: 10 minutes Description: Goes well with anything--unfrosted cake, ice cream, pancakes, even just eat it with a spoon. Allergens: Beet, Fructose, Fruit/vegetable, Spices, Sugar, Sugar cane Ingredient List:

1 piont Allergy_none blackberries , frozen (must be frozen)
1 cup Allergy_none sugar
1 cup Allergy_none water
3 Tbsp Allergy_none arrowroot , or corn starch

Instructions: Place 1/2 cup berries into a saucepan and add everything else. Bring to a slow boil, mashing berries. Simmer until very thick (will turn a beautiful shade of purple!). Add the rest of the frozen berries.
It will be slightly warm and can be used then, or allow to cool completely in the ref.

FYI - for those who don't know... arrowroot makes an excellent substitute for corn starch
