1 lb Allergy_none chickpeas , canned
1 medium Allergy_none onion , chopped
1 cup Allergy_none celery , diced
1 cup Allergy_none carrots , diced
1 clove Allergy_none garlic
1 Allergy_none bay leaf

Instructions: Cover chick peas with a quart of water. Mix in onion and seasonings. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add vegetables and continue to simmer for 30 more minutes. Serve hot.
