Topic: Allergy Support Group / giving up restraunts?

The Mayo Clinic has created a chef card ( http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-allergy/HQ00709 ) which may help. http://foodallergies.about.com/od/livingwithfoodallergies/tp/restaurant.htm also has some helpful hints and tips about eating out (as well as a couple of other links to cards to present to servers).

Topic: Allergy Support Group / 4 year old and 2 year old with lots of food allergies!

I don’t know whether you’ve found this site http://www.kidswithfoodallergies.org/ They published an interesting Christmas pamphlet, and it had recipes on it. I haven’t used this site for more than that pamphlet, all the recipes I use have been from this website, on about.com’s site for food allergies and my allergy-free cookbooks (most of which have been listed on this site under the suggested cookbooks link).

Topic: Allergy Support Group / Is there an egg-less flu vaccine?

I didn’t realize the nasal spray had egg in it too. I knew that the shot was. Thanks for asking this question because I would really like to have an answer to it as well – having just recovered from the flu.
