Topic: Allergy Support Group / allergy free thanksgiving dinner? And I forgot to add that my daughter can’t have MSG, either, which complicates things as well. Help! |

Topic: Allergy Support Group / allergy free thanksgiving dinner? How do I cook allergy free for me and my family – and still have food that’s enjoyable for everyone else? Is that possible without having to make 2 of everything? My daughter and I can’t have milk. I can’t have wheat, gluten, corn, soy, sugar, tomotoes, as well as a few other things I’m supposed to not have on my elimination diet. Any suggestions for yummy foods everyone will love? |

Topic: Allergy Support Group / I'm new here Thanks for the resource. I will definitely look into getting that cookbook. I am so struggling now with trying to find foods I can eat (eliminating dairy, wheat, corn, soy, tomatoes, sugar, chocolate, peanuts, is so hard. This elimination diet is hard! And then you feel like you can only eat a few things. I’m so hungry for some good homemade stuff that tastes good! Thanks again for the resource! |

Topic: Allergy Support Group / Hey everyone! New here! If you like yogurt type things, the best tasting yogurt without any dairy (or soy for that matter) is “So Delicious” made by Turtle Mountain made with coconut milk. It is the best tasting alternative to yogurt, and my daughter who is 7 loves it too. And coconut milk is really good for you. You can find it at the natural and/or organic grocery stores. |

Topic: Allergy Support Group / I'm new here I’m new here as of today! I have wheat and dairy allergies/sensitivities (the cause of my IBS which is greatly improved now since I no longer eat anything with wheat or dairy), and recently started developing issues with the “nightshades” like tomatoes and potatoes, and some sensitivities to corn and sugar. My daughter who is 7 has multiple food allergies/sensitivities too – dairy, and MSG which is so hard to track! She gets severely ill from MSG. She also seems sensitive to sugar and food dyes. We haven’t narrowed down exactly which it is with her yet, because most things that have food dyes have sugar, too. My husband is wondering about his sensitivity to wheat too and is on a trial elimination diet. So I guess it is a family affair. Any suggestions for good allergy free cook books that actually taste good? I’m hoping the recipies here will help, too. I’m looking forward to this site as a helpful resource. Thanks. |
